They say a picture's worth 1,000 words. And in social media, this is truer than ever. When we see pictures in our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram feeds, it gets our attention way more so than text. Photos are a huge part of the reason Facebook rose from a dorm room to a global corporate giant in 10 years. People want to see engaging pictures!
Pictures and photos can and should be a big part of your social media strategy.

Sure, videos take a little extra effort.
But it's worth it.
And it may not be as much effort as you think.
You can use your phone to take a video of a happy customer, a friendly employee, or even yourself talking about why you're passionate about what you do. Then, share that video across social networks, and watch your engagement go up.
I've seen it time and time again: small business owners cautious about making and sharing videos, and staying on the sidelines. Today is the day to change that and go for it! It's worth it.
